Wollongong Veterinary Hospital started back in 1939 by Bob Taylor, whose premises were then located in Globe lane off Crown Street. At the time it was the only coastal practice between Sydney and Bega and saw "all creatures great and small".
Rapid expansion of the business saw Bob move to 70 Keira Street in 1949. Since then our practice has continually grown with the building of the Woonona/Bulli Clinic in 1975, major extensions to our Wollongong Hospital in 1993 and the purchase and upgrading of the Corrimal Veterinary Clinic in 2001.
In 2008 we took on the Warilla - Shell Cove Veterinary Hospital in Warilla and have been constantly upgrading the facilities there.
In 2011 we opened the exciting new Fairy Meadow Veterinary Hospital on the Princes Highway in Fairy Meadow. This hospital is built on over 700m2 of floor space and gives us the opportunity to offer plenty of services to the Illawarra that have previously been unavailable.
Wollongong Veterinary Hospital will continue to run as a full working vet hospital and boarding for cats and dogs.

Fairy Meadow
State of the art Fairy Meadow Veterinary Hospital is now open on the Princes Highway in Fairy Meadow in between Amber Tiles and the Anglican Church. Fairy Meadow Veterinary Hospital is over 700m2 and the new main hospital facility has the following facilities:
Expansive reception,waiting and merchandise area with multiple areas and lounges for clients waiting.
4 large consultation rooms including a grieving room
Open plan treatment area which includes separate dog and cat ICU/recovery areas.
Large operating theatre with 2 operating tables and piped O2 gas, suction and medical air delivery systems to compliment the large array of surgical equipment.
Digital xray and hi powered xray unit
5 general anaesthetic machines with Isotec vaporisers all connected to piped O2 system from our own in house O2 production plant.
IDEXX in house pathology suite
Separate staff lunch room.
Adolescent and mature dog behaviour classes
Grooming centre to be completed December 2011

Wollongong Veterinary Hospital is a fully equipped air-conditioned 'A' class hospital. It is located at 70 Keira St and has been in Wollongong for almost 70 years. We have 2 consulting rooms, a large waiting room, treatment room and a sterile surgery room. We have large, modern cages for our patients that are admitted to hospital as well as boarding facilities..
Woonona - Bulli
The Woonona-Bulli branch is at 10 Railway St, Bulli, right opposite Bulli train station). We have a large consult room and waiting room. Patients admitted to hospital are regularly taken back to our Fairy Meadow Veterinary Hospital. We also have a large range of products and accessories. Ample parking is available at the front and rear of the building. We hold some puppy preschool classes here
Warilla - Shell Cove
We started looking after Warilla on the 5th of May 2008. Located at 11 Lake Entrance road, Warilla (on the way from Warilla to Shellharbour shopping centre). Most cases are dealt with on site, some cases are sent back to our Fairy Meadow Veterinary Hospital. We also have puppy pre-school classes here regularly. Consultations are made by appointment at this Branch
